CITYREACH NETWORK is a church planting organization with a vision to aggressively reach cities with the hope of Jesus.
Our mission is to reach the one who is far from God and help them become a passionate follower of Jesus. CITYREACH NETWORK uses unlikely people in overlooked places for extraordinary things.
CITYREACH NETWORK has established over 50 churches and 15 Hope Homes so far.
BRIAN BOLT
President & Founder
Pastor Brian Bolt gave his life to Christ in the back of an ambulance after being shot in the head. His life was radically transformed when he became a part of a men’s recovery home. There, he discovered his calling to become a pastor and church planter. After he attended Bible College in eastern Pennsylvania, he relocated to Pittsburgh, PA and started the first men’s Hope Home and CityReach Church, where he presently serves as the lead pastor.
Brian founded CITYREACH NETWORK in 2010, which exists to plant and develop life-giving churches in strategic cities. So far, CITYREACH NETWORK has established over fifty churches with many more to be planted in the coming years.
Pastor Brian and his wife Natalie Bolt continue to lead their church and cast vision for CITYREACH NETWORK.
JUSTIN MASLANKA
Vice President & Regional Pastor
Pastor Justin Maslanka is a unique and energetic communicator with a gift of imparting passion for Jesus as well as painting a clear path to personal and cultural transformation. His preaching/teaching ministry has opened doors to travel extensively throughout the body of Christ and the nations.
Justin’s faith-inspiring story gives hope that God can reach anyone and has become the foundation for the vision of CityReach Church Cleveland. Justin’s wife Suzie is a worship leader with a heart to bring others into the presence of God. Justin and Suzie also enjoy spending time with their four young children: Samuel, Isaac, Abigail, and Levi.
JON SHAFFER
COO & Regional Pastor
Pastor Jon and his wife Christine planted the very first CityReach church in Braddock, PA in 2009. Then in 2014, they launched their second church, CityReach Church Swissvale. Jon and Christine have two beautiful children, Lilianna and Josiah, as well as Jon’s son Devon.
Jon enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God, discipling new Christians, and seeing followers of Jesus reach their full potential in Christ. Christine is an avid reader, loves to worship the Lord through song, and teaches in the children’s ministry.
After coming out of a lifestyle of drugs, violence, and incarceration, Jon desires to see people overcome what once tried to destroy him and help them become passionate followers of Jesus.
JARED BELLAN
Church Planting Director
Pastor Jared Bellan gave his life to Christ in a jail cell after facing a federal prison sentence of ten years. Following a radical encounter with Jesus, Jared’s prison sentence was reduced from ten years to three months of probation. While in the process of planting a church in Monaca, PA, Jared decided to join CITYREACH NETWORK. Within two years, thirteen new churches multiplied out of CityReach Church Monaca.
Jared transitioned to the Church Planting Director of CITYREACH NETWORK in 2015 and assists Pastor Brian Bolt in reaching many cities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Jared and his wife Melissa have two boys, Jayden and Jacob.
BOBBY BLEDSOE
Regional Pastor
In 2004, after stints in rehab, nineteen months in juvenile detention, countless trips to the county jail, running the streets, and two weeks in a homeless shelter, Bobby Bledsoe’s out-of-control lifestyle finally came to an end.
Jesus came to Bobby in a vision and said, “With me there will be no fear.” Bobby went to church shortly after and had an encounter with the love of God. The heaviness that he carried for all those years was lifted. He finally felt free!
In 2014, Pastor Bobby and his wife Jade planted a church in Bangor, ME. They planted their second church in Ellsworth, ME in 2015. Bobby also serves as the Regional Pastor in New England.
MARK NOVALES
Regional Pastor
Pastors Mark and Wanda Novales planted CityReach Church Philly in 2013. He has served as a Major in the US Army for twenty-seven years. Pastor Mark is a graduate of Excelsior College and received his M.Div from Biblical Seminary. Wanda is the founder and CEO of Pan-American Academy Charter School in Philadelphia and has served as a teacher/principal/CEO for over 22 years. They are the proud parents of two wonderful sons, Mark and Joseph. Their family has been blessed to experience ministry as a family!
Pastor Mark felt God’s call to plant a church while in seminary. The Holy Spirit confirmed that call in a meeting at his home with Pastor Brian in the fall of 2012. After taking many steps of faith, they have experienced God’s ability to revive, restore, and exceed dreams. Their church continues to see many miracles of transformation, change, liberation, and freedom occur in Philly. Today, great leaders are being birthed out of their church and great churches will soon follow. To God be all of the Glory!
TIM WYNN
Regional Pastor
Pastors Timothy and Jeneva planted CityReach Church Tampa Bay in 2015. They have been blessed to be the parents of Jaylene, Ailani, and Christian, who are 3 amazingly unique and beautiful girls. He and his family are originally from New York City, but currently reside in the Tampa Bay region of Florida. This family loves to travel, engage in meaningful relationships, sing really loud in the car all at the same time, and have a deep passion and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Timothy holds a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Ministry from Mid-Western College, and he is also working towards completion of a M.Div. from Midwestern Theological Seminary. Pastor Jeneva is currently working on her credentials through Berean School of the Bible. Their vision as a family is to be agents of God’s love exemplified by walking and leading people into their God given destiny!
