Mark Novales grew up in East Chicago, Indiana. He was raised in a Spanish Pentecostal church in an area with a lot of gang activity. At 17 years old, Mark joined the army and shortly afterwards he had an encounter with God and gave his life to the Lord. Mark got married and moved to Philadelphia. On October 11th, Pastor Mark and Wanda Novales and their CityReach Philly congregation celebrated their two year anniversary and the opening of a new church building. It was exciting! There was a ribbon cutting ceremony and building dedication. There were dozens of pastors from other churches that attended to unite for their city.
