Our Mission & Vision
The mission of City Reach Raleigh is to love God, to love people, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God, and Savior Jesus Christ to make true disciples in our home church, and that discipleship will then filter throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible in magnify the name of Jesus.
Leadership Team:
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
Pastor Ken, Senior Pastor
Pastor Kenneth W. Johnson started pastoring in 2004 as the Founder and Pastor of Life Changers Intl. Church in the great city of East Cleveland, Ohio. Pastor Ken is a native of the Cleveland and East Cleveland area. Pastor Ken accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in a Prison Chapel Service in 1993 and in 1995 God gloriously delivered Pastor Ken in a prison chapel where his life was drastically changed after God delivered Our pastor from demonic influences and filled him with Gods precious Holy Spirit. After God radically altered his life Pastor Ken made a promise to God he would attend Rhema Bible training Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he would graduate from the Pastoral studies program. Pastor Ken is a proud member of Rhema’s RMAI ministerial association, He is an Ordained Assemblies of God Pastor and now a part of the City Reach Network! A Network committed to helping people at every level in our society.
Pastor Ken has ministered at numerous churches across the country, and has become a passionate speaker on Kingdom principles in many local churches in the Cleveland and greater Cleveland area. Our pastor is an avid Soul winner anointed by God to minister his life changing message. Pastor Ken’s anointing lie strongly in Deliverance, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and Kingdom Finances. Pastor Ken’s wisdom is beyond his years and his passion to reach the lost comes from the work and deliverance God has done for him directly at the Master’s hand. Pastor Ken’s desire is to see Peoples lives changed as a direct result of the Gospel with an understanding that the word only works if you work it. Pastor Ken thanks God for everything but especially His wife Pastor Carrie and his four adorable daughters Aubrey, Christa, Christen, and Kaelin.
Pastor Carrie, co-Pastor
Pastor Carrie M. Johnson is the wife of Kenneth Johnson and the co-founder of Life Changers Intl Church. She is a native of Kansas City where she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at Christian Tabernacle in 1989. Pastor Carrie began working in the youth dept, singing in the choir and studying the word for her next step in life. Pastor Carrie received her ministerial license in 1998 and served as the Women’s Pastor at Gates of Refuge in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
Devoted to the vision of the ministry, she assists her husband with a variety of duties to assure that his God-given mandate is carried out. She has the same emphasis in ministering as her husband and Pastor, which is changing lives through the word of God. Pastor Carrie, founded the Women ministry at LCC. She passionately encourages women to fulfill the purpose of God in their lives. She hosts prayer, Bible Study meetings, Women’s Encounter, retreats, workshops and other events to empower women to develop a strong relationship with God and with their families. She is an anointed, uncompromising teacher of the Word of God. Her passion is to see the women and the men experience total life prosperity. Lastly, she is the mother of four adorable princesses Aubrey, Christa, Moses, Christen and Kaelin.
