WHO WE ARE

Hiram and Liz Rios have been in a variety of ministerial and pastoral roles for over 26 years in NYC and FL, including the last 11 working in church plants. They are New York Ricans who have lived in Miramar, FL for the last 9 years and are excited about starting a spirit-driven, urban flavored church there. They have been married for 26 years and have two sons, Samuel (18) and Daniel (DJ-16) their special needs angel. Hiram and Liz seek to extend the CityReach Church platform beyond weekend worship services and engage people by developing a church that enters the life of the Miramar Pines community in its commerce and education. Their desire is to seek the peace and prosperity of the city by helping people become salt and light in the marketplace. CityReach Church Miramar Pines will impact the spiritual formation of its members so they can connect Sunday worship with Monday work!

Yanaisdys M. Martinez is a wife and mother of three with a passion for serving Christ. She has a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, a school founded on the Judeo-Christian tradition. She seeks to impart her love for Christ and learning onto all the young hearts and minds that enter CityReach Kidz. As a mother of a one-year old, a three-year old and a four-year old, her approach to directing the ministry is centered around care, compassion and patience. Yanaisdys prides herself in the deep seated love for Christ that her toddlers already exhibit despite their young age, and believes that a bible centered Children’s Ministry can create a life-long Christian foundation in every child’s life. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Jerald Wise has been singing in church since he was 10 years old. He has actively served in ministry all his life. He studied music education and music business at Miami Dade College. Also, he has had the privilege to sing with the likes of Helen Baylor, Terence Clayton, and Eddie Robinson to name a few. He has served as Youth Music Director at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist church and Minister of Music at House Of God Miracle Revival Fellowship for the last 4 years. He looks forward to this new opportunity to help grow this ministry to its highest level in God.
