LEADERSHIP & STAFF

BOBBY BLEDSOE
Lead Pastor
CityReach Church Bangor
In 2004, after stints in rehab, 19 months in juvenile detention, countless trips to the county jail, running the streets, and two weeks in a homeless shelter, Bobby Bledsoe’s out-of-control lifestyle finally came to an end.
Jesus came to Bobby in a vision and said, “With me there will be no fear.” Bobby went to church shortly after and had an encounter with the love of God. The heaviness that he carried for all those years was lifted. He finally felt free!
In 2014, Pastor Bobby and his wife Jade planted a church in Bangor, ME. They planted their second church in Ellsworth, ME in 2015. Bobby also serves as the Regional Pastor in New England.

SETH DEE
Worship/Youth Pastor
CityReach Church Bangor
God encountered me at a young age, but I truly placed my life into His hands during my senior year of high school. By His grace He has kept me.
I have a passion for youth & music, so God is using me in those areas to work His will.

TROY YORK
Associate Pastor
CityReach Church Bangor
I grew up in northern Maine where I began using drugs at the age of 14. I knew there had to be more to life, so I set my goals high and my dreams even higher. When I graduated high school, I moved to Boston and studied to become an Architect. I left college after being diagnosed by the doctors for having anxiety, depression and substance abuse issues. I moved back to Bangor and was put on several addictive medications. Throughout the next four years I was in and out of rehabs and outpatient programs.
It wasn’t until I experienced God’s grace and love that my life completely changed. Once I surrendered everything, God began a mighty work in my heart. It’s with a grateful heart I can say God has a plan and purpose for me in this ministry.

KATIE DEE
Children’s Pastor
CityReach Church Bangor
I grew up in a Christian home, and the church that I grew up in was so full of Religion, that was how I came to view God. At the age of 12, I got into alcohol and eventually into drugs. I was never happy living in that lifestyle and always felt out of place. When I was graduating high school, I realized I needed to make a change. God was constantly showing me his grace and love everywhere I went which eventually led me to Bible College where God transformed my life.
I have always enjoyed working with children and I have been blessed with this opportunity to be able to pour into their lives and show them His love.

ASHLEY RAWCLIFFE
Administrative Assistant
CityReach Church Bangor
I grew up in Maine as an only child from a wonderful family. I had never necessarily been steered toward God, and in fact, as a young adult I ran very hard in the opposite direction. There are times in life when one has to lose it all in order to open their eyes and realize that life and life abundantly can be restored. I will forever be grateful to have the epitome of a second chance at life. I am lucky to not only be back with my family, but I’m lucky to have gained an incredible second family here at CityReach Church Bangor.

ALI MCLAUGHLIN
Women’s Home Director
CityReach Church Bangor
I grew up here in Maine with my parents, four brothers, and four sister. There was alot of love, chaos, and anger when I was growing up. In my teenage years, I got involved with drugs, alcohol and relationships. This spiraled me down a dark path. I visited the CityReach church when I was 19 and it left an unremovable impression on me. I continued on this downward path for several more months until one day I went back to a Thursday night outreach service, where I surrendered my life to Jesus. The Lord began to supernaturally pursue me. I came into the women’s home a few months after that. I was lost, abused, addicted, and depressed.
Now, Jesus has set me free of all the bondage I was entangled in. I am no longer an addict, but a child of God. This has given me a great call and passion to go out and pull other women from the pits and confusion of sin. Jesus is able to break every chain and He is greater than any sin or shame.

BRUCE BUTLER
Men’s Home Director
CityReach Church Bangor
I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania. I began using drugs at the age of 12 and by 19 I was a heroin addict with no goals or reason to live. After trying to kill myself one evening, God began to show Himself to me and I have forever been changed by His love.
After completing the CityReach Hope Home discipleship, I now have a full and purposeful life where I seek to make new disciples and show other men God’s grace and love for the world.

KEVIN MCGUIRE
Public Relations
CityReach Church Bangor
I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island in an Irish, Italian and Catholic neighborhood. I played sports and had a lot of neighborhood friends and family. I quickly fell into the wrong crowd which led to drinking and using drugs. I ended up becoming a ward of the state at age 14. I was in and out of trouble for a lot of years; smoking crack, shooting heroin and drinking alcohol until I was 48 years old. I became hopeless, jobless and homeless. I started crying out to God.
CityReach had begun evangelizing the streets of Bangor. I got information about the Hope homes and called Pastor Bobby Bledsoe. He picked me up, brought me to the home, and helped me become a passionate follower of Jesus. Today I am grateful to be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. I have overcome so much and feel so blessed. The suffering is over. His blood is enough.
