GUS TIDLUND
Lead Pastor
CityReach Church Atlanta Southwest
Gus Tidlund has been in ministry since 1992. Gus is a graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a Church Planting Major. He pastored an urban revitalization church in the inner city of Minneapolis for over 4 years, and another in St. Paul for two years. He served as a Nationally Appointed Urban Home Missionary, church planter and as the director of the Minnesota Urban Ministry Institute (one of the first Urban Bible Training Centers). Gus has also served on staff on churches in Atlanta and Vermont, and pastored a revitalization church in New Hampshire for 7 years.
God has given a deep heart of compassion to Gus and Karrie for Atlanta, especially the southwest side, inside the perimeter and the city of East Point specifically. They have a deep longing to to create disciple making communities where people learn about Jesus, and what it means to live in obedience to Him in the context of authentic community relationships.
They believe in demonstrating the love of Jesus through radical service to the community and desire to see new ways to see faith invade the local market place. They have three children, Avery and Sarina are in college, and Eythan is attending High School.
KARRIE TIDLUND

Karrie Tidlund has served alongside her husband Gus in ministry for the past 23 years. She graduated from the Urban Ministry Institute in Minneapolis. She has a passion for teens and has served most recently as a youth pastor for more than 10 years. Her desire is to serve and be a part of what God is doing in the Southside of Atlanta bringing life, hope and a sense of purpose to those who are lost.
