Stories of Hope

CityReach Network reaches the one that is far from God and helps them become a passionate follower of Jesus. One of the ways we do this is through our Hope Home Ministry. With a vision to rebuild broken lives, the Hope Home Ministry provides a place of hope and freedom for men and women dealing with life-controlling issues or desperate situations.

Miracles happen everyday in our Hope Homes. Hearts are healed and families are restored. Men and women experience the love of Jesus Christ and their lives are transformed. It is incredible!

Here is a story of what God has been up to in one of our Hope Homes:

Dottie Simmons came into our Hope Home in Pittsburgh broken and with nothing. A young mother of two boys, Dottie found herself lost in a world of addiction and prostitution. Before coming into the Home, she was living homeless on the streets behind a dumpster. She was desperate for change. Dottie encountered the love of Jesus, gave her life to Him, and never looked back!

She graduated from the Hope Home, helped lead the Home, got custody of her two boys, Dallas and Jaden, and now continues to lead her family as a godly mother and a woman on fire to do God’s will.

“Before I came into the Home, I was no better than the dirt on the ground next to me, but now I’m redeemed, loved, and pure.”– Dottie
