When he was young, Todd Marshall frequently got into fights with his family, neighbors, and classmates at school. To escape from life’s troubles and to find belonging, Todd started drinking and smoking pot at 15.
About two and a half years ago on an unsuspecting fall morning, a state park ranger discovered a woman slumped over the steering wheel of her parked car. The night prior, this woman had attempted to end a pain-filled life by combining alcohol and prescription drugs.
