PREPARING TO PLANT A CHURCH
From the very beginning, CITYREACH NETWORK is here to support church planters. Utilizing church planter assessments is the first step in equipping pastors as they follow God’s call to launch a life-giving church.
Through several assessments we help planters develop a self-portrait by identifying their strengths, gifts, personality type, and leadership style.
The first step for any potential planter is the completion of the free Initial Screening Assessment (ISA), a brief set of questions that cover Church Planting Experience, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Ministry Experience and Relational Evangelism.
Each planter gets connected to a CITYREACH NETWORK Regional Assessor, who guides him/her through the additional assessments, including the 360 Survey, the Golden Personality Profile, the Portrait Predictor, Strengths Finder, and a Spiritual Gifts Inventory.
The final assessment is the PAS/Ridley Assessment, which is a comprehensive interview conducted by a CITYREACH NETWORK assessor. The Ridley Assessment explores 13 qualities researched as markers for successful church planters, including visionizing capacity, motivation, reaching the “unchurched,” commitment to church growth, spousal support, responsiveness to the community, leadership ability, resiliency, team building, and exercising strong faith.
